‘The Evidence’ Page

Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. As I suspected, it was pretty much a war-zone in my Chicago neighborhood. Compared to years past however, the local fireworks show was more on the level of a “police action” than all-out war.

More evidence of a lousy economy?

Hanging out on my balcony with a big ol’ cigar Saturday night, I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of a show. I wasn’t the only one. Around 11 PM, my girlfriend decided to head inside. She didn’t miss much. No more good stuff— just a lousy flare that was shot into the sky.

Thinking back, I’m now starting to wonder if it landed on someone’s house or other structure, as there were an awful lot of sirens in the area sometime later. Go figure.

Anyway, long-time readers of Boom2Bust.com might recall I used to update “The Evidence” page on a regular basis. Over time, this page, which debuted back in May 2007, got pretty stale. This past weekend, I revamped this section, and will add to it regularly.

I’m in the midst of carrying out a major overhaul of Boom2Bust.com, so don’t be surprised if you see some “funny stuff” going on if you’re reading the blog over the next few days. I don’t anticipate any outages, however, other than problems that sometimes occur on the server side of the equation.

That’s right. I’m covering my butt by blaming others even before something happens.

I will go far in contemporary American society.

Stop on by tomorrow when new material will be posted. Until then, consider reading “The Evidence” page if you REALLY want to give yourself a bad case of the Mondays.

Thanks again for following Boom2Bust.com…
