I don’t believe that this is the answer to the greener era. I also blogged on this subject with a simular point of view, but with a twist. I was an idea, and should have stayed that way…..An idea…. We will have to wait it out. They don’t look at how it is processed, or what it takes to get to that point. I guess they figure if the result are environmentally friendly, than that’s all that matters. Thanks

Which, unfortunately, ethanol doesn’t appear to be…

look i work in a ethanol plant i see the day to day of producing ethanol so i believe i might have a leg up on these people who are not in the industry.
1. ethanol is produced from grade #2 yellow dent corn (not for human consumption)
2. the dried distillers grains that are produced through the ethanol process are higher in protien and calories per pound than non processed corn. and when fed back to cattle make them fatter and more nurished that unprocessed corn.
3. the only thing the ethanol industry wants from the corn is the starch.
4. the plume that you see from the ethanol plants is steam. all plants are required to have a thermal oxidizer to burn off everything else.
5 the ethanol industry is regulated very closely to assure the safety of the enviroment and community.
6. go ahead and try to drink ethanol! lol obviously the guy runnin the story has no clue because ALL ethanol leaving a plant must be denatured so as to NOT be sold as a beverage!!
so pls keep buying into the lies that oil companies want you to believe, its your wallet, but just remember your kids will be the ones cleaning up the oil spills and wearing gas masks to breath!!!
